Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

SkinVault is an independent CS2 skin catalog and reference database. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Valve Corporation in any way. All CS2 game content, images, and names are the property of Valve Corporation.

2. Data we collect

SkinVault does not collect personal information such as names, email addresses, or account data. We do not require you to register or log in.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (page views, countries, device types, referring sites). Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless and does not track individual users or collect personally identifiable information.

3. Cookies

SkinVault does not set advertising, tracking, or analytics cookies.

The only value stored in your browser is a local preference key (sv_analytics_ok) saved in localStorage when you dismiss the analytics notice. This is stored locally in your browser and is never sent to any server.

4. Third-party services

The site loads item images from Steam CDN servers operated by Valve Corporation. Your browser will make requests to Valve's servers when displaying these images. Valve's own privacy policy governs those requests.

Traffic analytics are handled by Cloudflare, Inc. You can read about Cloudflare's data practices at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

5. Data retention

Because we do not collect personal data, there is no personal data to retain or delete. Cloudflare Web Analytics data is aggregated and anonymized — no individual user records are stored.

6. Your rights

Since we do not store personal data, there is nothing to access, correct, or delete on our end. If you have questions, you can clear your browser's localStorage at any time to remove the local preference key mentioned in section 3.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
